LinkedIn Learning Ext - XAPI Log

UniversitySite listens for information from any services such as LinkedIn Learning, that you've set up with XAPI integration. Even if a LinkedIn Learning course has not been added to UniversitySite, we will still save any records we receive for that course if the learner is using their Firm account. This log is intended to be useful for debugging a situation where a user has completed an External XAPI course, but does not see a completed attempt in UniversitySite.

Learner Completion Tab

On this tab you can see when a learner completes a course from LinkedIn Learning that has not been imported to UniversitySite. If you want to import the course, follow these steps:

  1. From InstructorSite | YOUR NAME drop-down | Global Settings | Logs | XAPI Log
  2. If under UniversitySite Course it shows "Course not found", then under External Course click the course name.

  3. From the Course Details pop-up, click the Import button.

  4. The course is now available in UniversitySite:

Course Completion Tab

On this tab you can see the number of learners that have taking courses from LinkedIn Learning that are not available in UniversitySite. If you want to import the courses, follow these steps:

  1. From InstructorSite | YOUR NAME drop-down | Global Settings | Logs | XAPI Log
  2. Click the Couse Completions tab. From here you can select the courses that are missing from UniversitySite and then click Import Courses.

  3. You'll Confirm the import and the courses will be available in UniversitySite.
