Evaluations - Built-in Form

The old ratings and feedback system has been migrated into this form so that you can continue to use it as you have previously, with a few minor caveats.  This system is a simple way to collect star ratings on courses and instructors as well as optional comments for feedback.  Star ratings are automatically shown in LearningSite if you have those enabled in Global Settings.

Differences vs the legacy system

• Moderators are now specified on the Evaluation Form, not in Global Settings.

To make changes to the Built-in Evaluation Form, go to More, click Evaluation Forms, and then click Edit.

You can retire this evaluation if you are no longer using it and still retain historical feedback.

Moderators

From this section, you can choose whether or not to send alerts to any specified moderators when feedback is submitted, and you can specify one or more moderators who can moderate/publish feedback received.  Moderators can also edit or delete feedback submitted if needed.  You can specify a moderator who will be used for courses with or without (default) a department assigned to them

Reviewing Submissions

To review learner feedback submissions:

1. Go to the More menu, Evaluation Forms, and click the Built-in Evaluation form.
2. Click the Submissions tab. Please note that you have the ability to apply a variety of filters, including by Course, by Instructors, and by feedback Status.
   
3. To see individual feedback, click Show Details.
4. To review multiple submissions, use the Download feature.
