How to Check UniversitySite for Javascript Errors

Background

Sometimes there may be a problem displaying a page in UniversitySite and you aren't sure what's wrong. A quick, simple troubleshooting step is to check for Javascript errors and let us know about it.

Steps

1. Press F12 to bring up the Developer Tools.
2. Select the Console tab.
3. If you don't see any javascript errors logged, refresh the page you were on (not the developer tools).
4. Screenshot the errors, if present and email Support.
