Awarding Board and Uniform Certificates for Events

Scenario 1: No CLE or CPD Credit

Default Certificate: If the Event does not offer CLE or CPD credit, attendees will receive a Default Certificate. This Certificate simply confirms completion of the program without mentioning CLE or CPD credit.

Scenario 2: Event Offers CLE or CPD Credit

  • Default Certificate: For attendees without a jurisdictional license or those with a license that does not match the course credits when uniform credits haven't been added to the Event. This Certificate confirms program completion without listing CLE/CPD information.
  • Board Certificate: For attendees with a jurisdictional license that matches the Event credits. If a board-required Certificate exists for that jurisdiction, it will be awarded. Otherwise, the standard Certificate for that jurisdiction will be given.
  • Uniform Certificate: For attendees with a license that does not match the Event credits, provided the event includes Uniform Credits. This Certificate indicates which Boards have approved the jurisdictional credits, allowing the attendee to present it to their Board for potential reciprocity.
  • To Award a Uniform Certificate: Add Uniform Credits to the Event as you would jurisdictional credits, specifying the number of credits and whether it is a 60-minute or 50-minute program.
