Get URLs For Images to Use With LearningSite

Background

The hero effect image (little super hero boy with a cape) and any text box widgets you create may look better with some crisp, striking images to get the attention of your often unmotivated Learners. But when UniversitySite prompts you for a URL for your picture you've found, how do you get that sorted? It's pretty simple, if you know how, so let's make sure you do.

Steps

1. Download the image to your PC desktop (or wherever you can find it).
2. Navigate to InstructorSite and open Global Settings.
3. Open the File Manager Global Settings Tool.
4. Browse for the file you downloaded to your PC.
5. After selecting it, click "Begin Upload".
6. After it uploads, click the provided button to get the URL to your clipboard.
7. This URL will work for adding your image to the LearningSite Homepage.
