Update SAML SSO Certificate in UniversitySite

This article will help you understand the process for updating your SAML certificate within UniversitySite.

The Provider's Cert section in UniversitySite will be checked for ANY valid certificates which allows you to add the new certificate above OR below the existing certificate and when the old certificate does expire it will automatically begin using the new certificate which is still valid.  This gives you a seamless conversion from the old to the new certificate.

If you prefer you can also just remove the old certificate and paste in the new.

If you lock yourself out you can get back in to fix this using this login URL

https://firm.universitysite.com/universitysitefirm/login where you replace "firm" with your firm's domain name used with UniversitySite.

You can also just remove the old certificate and paste in the new if you prefer.

1. Open Global Settings from InstructorSite (You MUST be a UniversitySite Administrator to do this)
2. Search "Login" in the search box
3. Open Login Settings
4. Expand SAML Setup for Production Environment
5. Either remove old certificate and paste in new  
   
   OR
   
   Add New certificate above old certificate 
6. Click the blue Save Settings button
