What is an Adjustment and why would you create one?
This article explains what an adjustment is and gives examples of why one should be created.
Adjustments allow an administrator to apply credits or debits to the CLE credits and/or CPD points accumulated by a user so that miscalculations or errors may be corrected.
Example:
Some jurisdictions allow learners to claim one of two types of credit for a course, and the learner would like to swap the credit awarded for a different type of credit. For example, in New South Wales a learner may be able to claim either 1 substantive law point or 1 professional skills point for a course they have completed. The instructor has selected substantive law as the credit type to award for the course. If a learner has earned more than the required number of substantive law points but is lacking professional skills points, an adjustment can be created to deduct 1 substantive law point in exchange for 1 professional skills point.
How to make the adjustment:
In InstructorSite, CLESite, or CPDSite, search for a user and go to their applicable plan. Select Make An Adjustment.
Fill in the fields in the pop-up box, include an attachment (if applicable), then select Submit.
Adjustments will be seen in the Learning Activities showing the adjustments made.
