Working with the Uniform CLE Certificate of Attendance
This article provides details on the newly-added Uniform CLE Certificate of Attendance. This certificate of attendance can be provided to attending lawyers licensed in jurisdictions where a specific certificate is not required.
In InstructorSite, the Uniform CLE Certificate can be found by selecting More from the main navigation, then selecting Certificates. Select Uniform CLE Certificate, then select Setup.
Enter the Sponsor name (your law firm name) and the name of the sponsor representative into the spaces provided, then select Save Setup.
Create a Course and add CLE credits. To add the Uniform CLE Certificate, go to Certificate, then select CLE / Uniform CLE Certificate and provide the State Activity Numbers where the course is approved (if any), the total credits based on a 60-minute and 50-minute hour, and the number of Ethics credits (if any) based on a 60-minute and 50-minute hour. Select Save Course.
Create an Event for the Course. From the Certificates tab on the Event page, the attendee(s) who will receive the Uniform CLE Certificate will appear in the box for the certificate. Select an attendee(s) to send a certificate to, then select Next Step.
Verify the certificate settings, then select Send. The certificate will be sent to the selected recipient(s).
