Change email recipient for User Sync Details

Background

The user sync runs as a scheduled task on one of your internal servers, not our cloud server.  It sends an email of the sync details to one or more people when it finishes each time.  This article explains how to change the recipients when needed.

Note: Email recipients for the user sync cannot be changed within UniversitySite but are changed in the ActiveDirectoryImport.exe running on a server in your network.

Steps to configure email recipients for the User Sync Details

  1. Check user sync log for server and technical contact information if you have previously provided them in UniversitySite Global Settings/User Sync Logs/User Sync Info
  2. Ask your technical contact to update the Notification Email recipients for the user sync tool on the server listed in User Sync Info using the details below
  3. Open the ActiveDirectoryImport.exe usually found at c:\program files (x86)\Profiscience Partners\Active Directory Import (sometimes "User Sync")\ActiveDirectoryImport.exe
  4. Select the Setup tab
  5. Update or remove any email recipients, using a comma separator between email addresses
