Awarding Instructor Credits

Steps

  1. In InstructorSite, create a Course, then create an Event for the Course.
  2. In the Event editor, select Contacts.
  3. Then select Add Contacts to add an Instructor(s) and their role from the dropdown.
  4. Select Save Event.


  1. Go to the Registrants tab of the Event.
  2. Click on the Attendance bar to open the dropdown.
  3. Then check the Instructor Credit box and then the Partial Credit or Special Credit box to change as needed.
  4. Then click Save Registrants.


In some cases, an Instructor may also be awarded attendee credit.

Example: For a 3-hour session where an Instructor is part of a three-person panel, they might claim credit as an Instructor for their 1-hour presentation of the session and 2 credits as an Attendee. Information regarding the amount of credits that can be awarded to an Instructor should be obtained from the jurisdiction's rules posted on their website.

Instructor credits will appear in the user's Learning Activity table with an Instructor Credit tag.
