How to Add a New Sponsor

This article provides details for adding a new sponsor in InstructorSite. Adding a sponsor allows only InstructorSite users who are members of that sponsor group to edit or schedule events with that sponsorship and it provides a color-coded filter for the sponsor's content in LearningSite.

From the main navigation bar, select More and then select Sponsors.

Select New Sponsor.

Type the name of the new sponsor in the space provided and add a description (optional). To hide the sponsor from view in LearningSite, deselect Visible in LearningSite. Select the Main Contact for the sponsor from the drop-down. To have alerts sent to someone other than the Main Contact, select the Office Location and choose a contact from the drop-down. Select Save Sponsor.

Select Assign this Sponsor to... to assign the sponsor to a Course, Event, Plan, Resource, or User. Select Courses from the drop-down to add the new sponsor to a Course.

Search for and/or choose a Course and select Add Sponsor to Course.

The new sponsor for the Course will appear on the Overview tab of the Course page.
