How to Create and Apply Scorm Settings to Many Courses at Once

Background

From time to time you may run into content that you've purchased or even created yourself that doesn't play at the right size or record completions correctly, or has some other problem that you need to address by means of editing the SCORM package properties for that course in UniversitySite.

What happens when you need to do that for many courses and would rather not go to the trouble of editing each one painstakingly?

You need to use the SCORM Player Presets Global Settings Tool.  This document will guide you through the process of creating and applying a SCORM preset.

Steps

1. In InstructorSite, view any elearning course
2. Click the Player Settings gear icon in the On-Demand Content section of the Overview Tab
3. Visit the Launch behavior or other tabs to make the desired changes
4. Click the Blue Save button
5. Modify the SCORM settings as needed
6. Click the Presets tab on the left
7. Enter a name for your preset in the Preset Name: field and then click the Add Preset button
8. Click Save
9. Open SCORM Player Settings in the UniversitySite Global Settings 
10. Select the courses you want to update with these SCORM package properties you've saved as a preset
11. Choose your new preset from the drop down in the upper left
12. Click Apply Preset
