Add Resources to a Plan

Background

Suppose you want to add several Resources and make them part of someone's Learning Plan. Adding a Resource directly to a Plan is not supported, but you CAN add Courses that basically just ARE Resources to a Plan.

Steps

1. Create a Course in UniversitySite and select On-Demand as the Course Type.
2. Assign a Title and Prefix.
3. Select On-Demand Content from the far left Quick Bar to jump to that section.

4. Choose Generic Content Upload as the Content Type.

5. Select a Completion Option that will make up the acknowledgment experience.
6. Go down to the Current Content box.
7. Specify either a URL or select + Click here to upload a file to Upload your document.
8. Edit the Launch Button Text to determine what label to use to launch/view the Resource.
9. Select Save Course.
10. Test this Resource by selecting View Content.
