Users - Copy Users between UniversitySite Elements

Task

Sometimes you want all of the registrants in one event copied to another one, or perhaps you want all of the email addresses of people in a particular audience to send an email.  You can now copy lists of users (in the form of email addresses) from one place where you see them in InstructorSite to another UniversitySite element that can have users associated with it e.g. from an audience to an event, from one event to another event, from an event to a plan, etc.

Steps

  1. Start with the users you want to copy, typically from the users tab of the item when viewing, NOT editing that item in UniversitySite
  2. Select the users you want to copy
  3. Click the Get email addresses link
  4. Click Copy all email addresses to the clipboard
  5. View the UniversitySite element you want to add these users to
  6. Select the users/registrants/enrollees, etc tab that lists users for this element (the place where users are normally added to this element)
  7. Choose the "Use advanced search to add users..."
  8. Choose the paste email addresses option
  9. Save your changes
