Why install SSL on your SSO site?

When users click on a link to UniversitySite that starts with HTTPS, they are currently prompted to login.  This will continue to pester users until users HTTPS is enabled on the SSO server.
HTTPS links have been sent via email numerous times in the past.  This will inevitably happen again and again.
Here one scenario that describes how this can happen:
  1. Instructor visits UniversitySite using HTTP
  2. Instructor visits a password page (to prevent passwords from being transmitted over plain text, the app redirects to HTTPS)
  3. Instructor is now using HTTPS for the duration of their session
  4. Instructor shares a link to a video, enrolls someone in a plan or event, etc.  Since he/she is using HTTPS, any links shared during this session use HTTPS.

By enabling access to your SSO server via HTTP and via HTTPS, there's no chance of this problem recurring.
