ManagerSite - What is it and how can I use it?

Overview

ManagerSite is a slice of UniversitySite designed specifically for managers to help them oversee the learning and development of their employees.

Managers can

  • View what training their employees are participating in
  • Assign training in the form of plans they create
  • Assign training (if instructors enable ManagerSite access for at least one plan) in the form of plans created by instructors
  • Turn on a notification system to be notified via email each time an employee takes a class or completes an On-demand course.
  • Turn on an approval system whereby your employees cannot take training without first seeking your approval

To turn on notification for training just access the settings menu from the drop down under your name in the upper right and select the option Notify me when employees register for training under the Events and/or Videos sections.

You can also turn on an approval system if you need to prevent your employees from taking training without first seeking your approval.
