LearningSite Global Settings - Main Navigation Bar Settings

Overview

Here you can:

• Change the colors and highlighting for the Main Navigation Bar at the top of LearningSite.
• Enable or disable the links in the Main Navigation Bar.
• Rename the links in the Main Navigation Bar.
• Enable/Disable a link to the legacy learning center.
• Enable/Disable link to ManagerSite.
• Add other links to appear below the toolbar.

Colors (Navigation Bar)

Paste in the hex code for the colors you want to use or click the colored spot to choose basic colors, making sure you test your changes for readability (especially for the text colors, ensure adequate contrast is maintained between the text and the bar so people can easily read it).

Don't forget to Save Colors when you are done.

Main Links (Main Navigation Bar)

Enable or disable the links that appear, and rename them if needed.

Tip: Some items only appear when enabled in InstructorSite, such as the On-Demand and Videos items, which toggle based on whether you are using the Current or Legacy setting for Resources. See Update LearningSite to use On-Demand and Live Events for more.

Tip: We recommend you not use Open in new tab for links you add, so that people can easily navigate using their back button in the browser instead.
