Overview

They look a little different, but other than a few exceptions I'll list in a moment, this is the same old Administrator Tools.  

A significant improvement has to be the inclusion of a new search that will go as deep as the names of settings you are looking for so you don't have to know which tool has the setting you want in it. 

Just start typing what you're looking for then click the hyperlink for the report that includes the setting you want listed under it.

The Newcomers to Global Settings Are:

• Sent Items - review and download to Excel a list of emails sent out by UniversitySite 
• Background Tasks - mainly for use by Profiscience support
• Resource Settings - turn on/off the new On-Demand resources for use with LearningSite 
• Office Locations and Rooms - we combined two previous admin tools into one
• Account Lockout (login setting) - added to enhance security

Changed names

• legacy Image Manager = File Manager
• legacy Default Training Contacts = Course Request Routing 
• legacy mail setup and customization = SMTP settings
• legacy UniversitySite tab of the Mail setup and customization tool = Templates
• legacy locations and legacy training rooms = Office Locations and Rooms
• legacy miscellaneous settings to change Department name to Sponsors  = Terminology
