InstructorSite Audience Editor

TIP: If you need a New Hire audience because you plan to setup training that you ONLY want New Hires to see so that it doesn't clutter the view or confuse your other staff and attorneys, consider using "People hired after [Date]" switch. 

NOTE: Remember, audiences really most benefit those who are NOT members, in that they hide this content from their view so it's not cluttered with content they don't need to see.  Therefore when you build an audience keep this in mind.

Warning: For your audience to have any usefulness, it has to have both members, AND it must be assigned to one or more UniversitySite elements. You can add it to them one at a time using the editors for those elements, OR you can use the new bulk editor to assign them in bulk. Name

Give your audience a name that is both short and clear

Description

You might add some language to remind yourself or others what the purpose of this audience is or to describe who it should contain in more detail.

Status

  • Active - audience is in use 
  • Retired - audience is no longer in use but could be re-activated later if desired

Auto-Members

When you specify criteria for membership in this audience here, this criteria will be used to periodically search for and update membership.  When there are matches they will be included in the audience, if people no longer match the criteria they will be removed from this audience.
