Events - Setup 1 on 1 Training

Task

If you need to schedule events just for 1 on 1 training, perhaps desk-side (theirs or yours) this article will explain how.  These events are NOT visible by default in LearningSite since it is up to you to add the learner yourself, but you can make it visible if you like so learners can self-register.

Steps

  1. Choose Event from the + menu
  2. Specify the course you are scheduling
  3. Specify the Date and Time for your event
  4. From the quick menu on the left, jump to Location
  5. Choose the Type 1-on-1
  6. Choose the Location e.g. Dallas
  7. Type a short description for the Meeting Room you want to use e.g. "your desk", or "my desk" or something similar
  8. Note: IF you want people to see this event and self-register select Security from the quick menu and switch on Visible in LearningSite and Save Event (you're done), otherwise skip this step.
  9. Save Event
  10. Select the Users tab
  11. Select the + Add button and type in the name of the person you want to schedule this event with
  12. Save Roster
  13. Send the meeting request
