Ensure My Employees Only Take Training I Approve

Task

As a manager in UniversitySite, you can adjust your settings to apply an approval process for any employees who want to take training.

Tip: You may just want to be notified when your employees take training.  You can do that here too.

Steps

  1. From LearningSite, choose the ManagerSite item in the LearningSite drop down menu.
  2. Once in ManagerSite, choose your name in the upper right and select Settings
  3. From the Employee Training Approval Policy section at the top for Events and for Videos, choose Approval Required
  4. Click Ok at the bottom of the screen

Now that you have enabled the approval process, you will want to respond to those requests which will be sent to you via email, using the links in those emails to approve or deny this training.

You can also do this from the Approvals page accessible from the nav bar at the top.
